Meet Shari!

Ron and Sharon Berquist started what is now the Shari's Restaurant chain in 1978. This photo of Sharon (AKA, "Shari") was taken May 1979 in front of the new Sherwood Shari's when it was getting ready to open. The Berquists no longer own the restaurant chain.

This is a little after my time, but I believe Sherwood Shari's was the second in the chain. The first Shari's was in Hermiston, Oregon (of all places).
