I got one of those letters too. I say we donate that money to the memory of the JC Smocks and Morbacks of our time: The Progressives!! I think someone should write a book and start a memorial with that money.
We could do a historical documentation of the Oregon Progressives.

Ah yes, Oregon's Progressives. If they had not agreed to hold back for Teddy Roosevelt and his national agenda, they would still be a force to reckon with.

Check out the Progressive Democrats of America and see if they come close to our Sherwood founding fathers!

It's interesting to see how a scam letter from God-Knows-Where inspires the Sherwood Historical Society to discuss her vision for the future.

I recently appeared out of thin air at the monthly meeting of the Robin Hood Festival Association and declared:
"Ten years from now the Robin Hood Festival will be held 365 days of the year instead of only 2 days of the year."

You should have seen their faces. They just couldn't believe it.

Personally, I think it should be three full days in length, considering all the work that goes into it! I am amazed every year to see how fast everything shuts down!
