Eeeegads!!!!!I felt this coming a long time ago in the early 70's (not 1870's mind you, J.C.) when they widened the road. I was hitchen' then and the wizz of the cars going by me was foreboding! (Just like yer photos!)
The same grove of trees is in the background in both photos. I stood a little further back in the NOW photo so that the image would make some sort of sense.
This was about where Clyde List's Grandma used to live.
