This conversation is as interesting as the one I keep getting into at Rainbow Market, located on the same street as de Nimmo's restaurante, one block over.

I know that Korean folk my age like to sing. The one song they enjoy most is "Arirang." Arirang brings tears to their eyes. The song is over 600 years old.

Alas. The young lady at Rainbow Market shook her head. She said No. No way. Not Arirang. She did not like Arirang.

I asked the somewhat older, but no less beautiful, lady at the Dry Cleaners next door to Safeway what was wrong with the girl at Rainbow Market.

She was not surprised. She had heard it all before. She frowned and gave a wave of the hand. "It's because she's young!" she said.
