History Camp 2012
A Five Day Visit to the Turn of the 19th Century.
DAY ONE VIDEO
History Campers are strongly advised never to look BLUE BONNET in the eye when they approach him, but rather pretend to be looking for something or someone else. It is also advisable to shout "Hello!" in Chinookian as often as possible, the only language he knows. ("Hello!" in Chinookian sounds like "How-are-you!")

One of America's strangest ceremonies: An officially sanctioned burning of the United States Flag. Conducted this Monday evening at the doorstep of the Sherwood Heritage Center.
Only the United States Marine Corps or the Boy Scouts of America is able to conduct a flag burning legally. The purpose of the ceremony is to "retire" our most precious symbol in a blaze of glory, instead of allowing moth, rust and decay to do it their way.
