Tonight's tree lighting ceremony was a pretty pathetic affair
compared to the spectacle overhead.
God often has a way of spoiling our best laid plans.

It is a very strange fact that the best photographs you can possibly take anywhere in Sherwood Oregon are during these few hours: Just before, during and after the annual Christmas Parade. The Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association, who organized the event, are pretty smart people, I'll say that much.
That was just the icing on the cake, J.C. I was sitting in the people mover wishing I had a camera!!
It just proves the point that the best views, while you are walking, could be the ones behind you.....
