It was a Historically Significant Moment

The Sherwood school children in this video never imagined that they were involved in an Historically Significant Moment. According to the February 2011 Sherwood Gazette, the Old Sherwood Town barber chair belonging to Dale Smith may never turn again.

  4. Dale Smith has cut hair in Sherwood since 1956. He's never worked anywhere else!

I was born June 13, 1944. That means I was (Wait a minute. I can't do the arithmetic. It's too hard.) years old when Dale Smith started cutting hair in Old Sherwood Town.

We will try to figure out the math, Clyde. We might need a math teacher though.

Good luck on the arithmetic, folks. All I know is that when Dale started cutting my hair, it was fun to come into town and get swung back and forth in that big cozy barber chair.

  14. OK, Boys and Girls; a math lesson. First of all it is 2011. Now if Dale started cutting hair in 1956,we would have to subtract 2011 from 1956.

What is the status of this said barber? Why in my day, no one needed a license to do anything, you just did it. Of course that was in 1857.
